Drake Signs New Contract With Warner Bros

His label OVO will be one of the privileged partners of the famous American studios.

Drake has no time to lose. The rapper, pop singer in his lost hours, is the type to beat the iron while it is hot. This year, he released a new project with a rather hybrid form, a playlist called “More Life” and also completed a massive world tour. Recently, the OVO boss even hung a pretty record in terms of streaming, he had the most listened to song in the history of Spotify, with his track “One Dance“. Today, he has put his label in another dimension.

More than worth presenting Warner Bros., one of the flagship of American culture, famous movie studios that have rocked entire generations with successful movies. Today, the company will host a new partner in Drake. The Canadian has signed a new contract with “WB”, all to guarantee a new framework for his label OVO Sound, which he created in 2012 with his co-manager Olivier El Khatib and producer Noah “40” Shebib. The same year, they had already sealed a distribution contract with the famous studios.

OVO Sound and its Executive Director, Mr. Morgan, will move to New York to print the label renewal. It should be said that in 2017, the structure will have bread on the board with a strong stable of artists in the process of exploding, such as PartyNextDoor, Roy Woods or the R&B duet, Majid Jordan.

Looks like Drake and OVo keep winning. What’s next for the Canadian label?
