Yemi Eberechi Alade was conceived on March 13, 1989 in Abia State, Nigeria. Her father James Alade is of Yoruba beginning while her mother Helen Uzoma is of Igbo cause bringing about her being alluded as “Yoruba-Igbo young lady”.
Alade is the fifth out of the seven youngsters in her family. She went to St Savior British Primary School, then went ahead to Victory Grammar School in Lagos, before getting a degree in Geography at the University of Lagos
Her first ever hit banger “Johnny” was all over the place, and if you were in West Africa, then you definitely must have heard or felt the power of this massive earthquake that hit the ECOWAS sub-region from the Nigerian Music Queen.
After “Johnny” well not much in terms of hits from her if you talking ECOWAS-wise but in Nigeria, she’s not been bad at all. This new hit song however seems to be having that capability of matching up to the level of “Johnny”. Well lets see, who knows, this song could even surpass my favorite song from her “Johnny”
Yemi Alade follows up her previously released tune “Elele”, with another infectious number tune which she gushes about a lover-man story. She entitles this new cut “Oh My Gosh”, which was co-written by Klem, mixed and mastered by Swaps. Take a tune in below and share your thoughts with us
